Our corporate client, in the manufacturing sector, seeks a highly qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Human Resources Assistant. The selected individual will provide administrative support to the company’s human resources department and will perform a variety of duties crucial to maximizing that department’s contribution to the overall accomplishment of the company business plan. Duties of the position include but are not limited to:


Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as information resource for managerial staff and employees to address inquiries relating to human resource and payroll policy and protocols.
  • Comprehensive checklist review of all documentation and forms submitted for each new hire associate for completeness and accuracy, and verification of appropriate identification for new hires prior to commencement of employment.
  • Serve as information resource for managerial staff and employees to address inquiries relating to human resource and payroll policy and protocols.
  • Partner with office managers at geographically distributed sites to ensure the efficient, accurate and timely flow of employee payroll data between central human resources office and individual store locations.
  • Provide administrative support for a variety of tasks, initiatives, and projects as required to ensure accomplishment of human resource departmental planned activities and goals.
  • Actively maintains up-to-date knowledge of area of recruitment and acts as a point of contact and liaison for internal and external applicants

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or 1 year of experience.
  • Evident working experience and proficiency in computerized functions and communications in written and verbal forms.
  • Broad based working knowledge of the human resources function and major areas of activity and practice.
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of State and Federal regulations and statutes pertaining to employment and workplace issues.
  • Well-developed ability to assess workload components and determine appropriate priority for action based on departmental impact and relative importance to overall department mission accomplishment in both short and long term.
