A privately held company in West Hollywood is actively hiring for a FULL-CYCLE RECRUITER/ JR. GENERALIST. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and ambitious; a true self-starter with a strong desire to BE GREAT! This role is designed to spend 85% on recruitment and 15% as a generalist. This is a great opportunity for a recruiter wanting to spread his/her wings as a HR generalist while continuing to support hiring the best of the best for our open positions. The position will report directly to the Head of HR/Director of HR.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates. Responsible for the full life-cycle of recruitment for talent
  • Designs, plans and executes candidate selection process
  • Screens resumes, interview candidates (by video conference or in-person). Administers appropriate assessments, facilitates reference/background checks, makes recommendations to hire and delivers employment offers
  • Uses traditional and non-traditional (social media) resources to identify and attract quality candidates ensuring high visibility to potential candidates while building a pipeline of candidates
  • Follows up with hiring managers and candidates to obtain feedback regarding candidate selection process
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationships with internal and external business partners to ensure timely achievement of all staffing goals
  • Effectively communicates employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g. benefits, compensation, NDA, etc.)
  • Partners with hiring managers to ensure all Federal and State laws and regulations are being followed
  • Manages candidate life-cycle in the ATS
  • Maintains Employee Referral program
  • Maintains industry memberships and affiliations with trade and professional organizations
  • Plans and facilitates new hire orientation for all new hires
  • Follows up with related clerical aspects of employment, such as communication to payroll, medical and non-medical related benefit
  • Provides weekly status reporting of all recruitment related activity
  • Responsible for processing payroll using ADP Workforce
  • onboarding, leaves, off-boarding, payroll, administration of benefits, research, L&D initiatives, culture initiatives, and other projects and tasks

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 5+ years of multi-location full-cycle recruiting experience in entertainment, sports management, advertising or staffing industries, and a minimum of 2-3 years as a HR generalist
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and regulations
  • Familiarity using ADP Workforce
  • Advanced skills using MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
